Planning a birthday party?

Here's valuable advice from a seasoned professional to help
you create a memorable yet fun and safe celebration.

  1. Punctuality Matters: Encourage your guests to arrive on time by kindly requesting it. Sending a reminder a day before the event can help too. Consider scheduling your event slightly off the hour (2:15pm or 4:45pm), this psychologically encourages people to be more on time.

  2. Choose the Right Venue: Opt for smaller venues, preferably indoors. This minimizes weather-related issues and keeps things manageable.

  3. Guest List: Keep your guest list smaller if possible, around 12 to 15 kids. This not only simplifies the party but also respects pandemic guidelines. We're not completely done with covid.

  4. Decorate Nicely: Focus on decorating the area around the cake table with balloons and signs to create a visually appealing setting. Also, makes for great photo opportunities.

  5. Professional Entertainer: Consider hiring a professional magician for entertainment. Magic is a universally enjoyed option, avoiding potential clown-related fears that some folks may have.

  6. Check Credentials: Ensure your entertainer is experienced, bonded, insured, and has references. Don't opt for the cheapest option; look for value.

  7. Food and Refreshments: Keep it simple with pizza or finger foods. Avoid extravagant meals and prioritize eco-friendly options for drinks and serving.

  8. Easy Cleanup: Involve kids in recycling and cleaning up after the party. It's a great way for them to feel involved, responsible, and validated.

  9. Capture Memories: Take plenty of pictures throughout the event to cherish and share with family and friends.

  10. Delegate and Relax: Don't hesitate to ask for help from others.  So now sit and you can also enjoy the celebration.

Thank you for considering these tips. I hope they prove useful in making your family celebration a wonderful and memorable event. If you're interested, I'm here to be a part of your special day.
